A secondary cell battery can be recharged over and over until it eventually stops working. Secondary cell batteries include lithium-ion (Li-ion), nickel cadmium (NiCd) and nickel–metal hydride (NiMH). These are made from nickel, cadmium, zinc, lead or lithium. These types can also be recycled.
